Hm, well, I was hoping to be able to sign up for consent_issues_exchange, but I ended up not getting anywhere close to finishing the sign-up process itself (picking out freeforms, writing requests, etc.), despite putting a lot of work into it last Saturday, so nope, I guess it's not happening this year. 😅 I probably could have had a lazier sign-up/requested fewer things, but it would have been less fun that way!

Also, the other issue is that I already have a big Quodo Mirrorverse WIP that is very related to the themes of CIEX and similar to what I would have requested in that exchange if I signed up. Knowing this, I decided it would be okay to sign up for CIEX *if* I made significant progress on editing/patching up this fic. However, while I did make a lot of progress on that task, I also didn't end up finishing that up in the end. That's okay, though - instead of participating in CIEX for the next couple of months, I'll take the opportunity to try to push this project forward instead, which I kinda need to do or this project won't get finished.

Anyway, I hope this was interesting to read for anyone not me. 😅 This fic has been quite difficult for me to write, and I am getting a bit tired of having to read the opening chapters for like the fiftieth time in my attempt to add new words. But this time, I am pretty excited about the edits I'm making and feeling optimistic that this time I WILL be able to advance.

Oops, it's been a couple of months since I updated. I spent most of January trying to finish up an overdue gift, so wanted to finish that up before posting, then just got busy.

Summary: Quark and Odo get stranded in a strange place that seems to grant some of their desires. Their attempts to find a way out are disrupted when Quark becomes afflicted with some hard-to-control sexual urges.

My comments: This is the second-longest fic I've written, and I actually wrote this quite fast. Credit for the idea to do a zoo type plotline goes to my partner. I had fun writing all the pining moments here!

• Title: Too Many Odos
Pairing: Mirror Odo/Quark, Odo/Quark
Ratings/warnings: NC-17; rape/non-con, dom/sub, tentacles, multiple penetration, praise kink, hurt/comfort, get-together
Summary: DS9 gets a visitor from the Mirror Universe who ends up setting his eyes on Quark.
Word count: 10835 words in 5 chapters

My comments: I had a bit of difficulty trying to hammer all the ideas I had into the shape of a somewhat coherent plot. It's something where I think Mirror Odo, Quark, and Odo all interacting together has such juicy potential - too much juicy potential to explore in a single fic, maybe? There were so many things I was hoping to feature here that either got cut or got put in here in a toned-down sort of way. But it was a lot of fun writing a kind of identity issues or evil clone story like this. Also, I don't know what it is about Odo/Quark that always make my fic for them go so long...

Quark and Odo both horrified to be playing out their deepest secret fantasy with the other, before realizing that their fantasies are, in fact, very compatible... The scenario they fantasize about is pretty dang hot and suits them both very well.

Pairing: Dukat/Meru/Nerys
Ratings/warnings: NC-17; rape/non-con, mother/daughter incest, PWP, fingering, bad ending
Summary: Нерис в прошлом. Дукат выбирает её мать своей дамой для утех. А следом приглашает и её саму.

My comments: This is a translation of one of my incestbingo fics, "a more familiar touch," done for WTF (Winter Fandom Kombat)! I am a bit :O at seeing this because I didn't really think anyone read this, let alone liked/noted it enough to want to translate it. This does make me think about how I'm proud of the fact that I'm apparently the first person to write this pairing on AO3!


Other than that, not many updates for me this month. I have a couple of fics I'm aiming to write, but it seems like they have not gotten much of my attention this month, my writing going basically entirely to SFW projects. Hopefully, next month I'll be able to do some kind of writing update?
