Hoo boy, I'm struggling with this "post one update post a month" thing, even though I don't really even need to say that much in an update. I could just be like, "Hi. The projects are going/not going" or "The ![[community profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/silk/identity/community.png)
soulcaliburkink Promptathon has started!" (which it has) and that would be enough for a monthly post. In my defense, though, January, February, and March have just been a really busy time for me.
So yeah, for this post, I mainly just want to promo some smut/kink events going on/coming up (in order of deadline, I suppose):
1.soulcaliburkink Promptathon - This has been going on since February. I ended up extending the bingo-claiming part into March too. We've gotten some new prompts and someone (not me) got bingo! I'm trying to go for a blackout and maybe a hard mode bingo if I have time. But yeah, due to March busyness and other things taking priority, I still haven't had the chance to leave any more prompts. But I'm confident I'll be able to do it in the uh last five days of March. Join me! After that, I'll take a crack at trying to fill some, although probably with something short. (Even after the end of March, you can still leave prompts too.)
2. Rare Kink Buffet 2025 - Prompting for this one is closed, but works are due in a week, on April 2. I've got my eye on a couple of prompts - I'm going to see if I can write up something VERY short for those two. I also saved/picked out some prompts that I thought were fun, although I couldn't really think of anything for them, or the chance of my filling them is pretty low for whatever reason. I listed them at the bottom of this post with some comments, if you're interested.
3.super_effucktive - Formerly known as dick_or_treat, Super Effucktive is a very simple challenge, which is to make at least one smut work titled with a Pokemon move. It's quite fun to browse the list of moves and see how suggestive they are (apparently the most popular title used is "Double Team" XD), and it's very easy to participate because you can write anything you want and just find an appropriate Pokemon move title afterward. This one is starting up soon, on April 1st, and runs through May 31st. Depending on how my writing is going, I might have a couple of late smut fics I could use this event to finish up.
