Writing update

I finished a bus pass version of my consent_issues_exchange fic. I'm really pleased with how it came out, but I'd just like to do one more pass to bulk up the sex scenes a bit because they came out a little rushed in the version I posted.

I'm also working hard trying to finish enough of a pinch hit in order to claim it, but it's taking me longer than expected. I was hoping to write it very short/concisely, but somehow the writing style keeps on going long back to my typical style. I'm trying out writing on my phone in case that helps - so far it's helping with getting the words out, but they are still not coming out concisely. Also, I hit a bit of a snag with the scene progression, trying to figure out the exact timeline of events I want. I'm still not sure how it will shake out in the end, or if it will shake out.

But that struggle and uncertainty aside, I'm making progress, and I hope I'll be able to make a big dent in this fic today and tomorrow while traveling for the holidays.

I'm hoping for next year I'll be able to work on some of my personal projects instead of writing so much for exchanges, but when the requests are so good...
