Extra crossover prompts

DNWs

General DNWs:

• Character bashing (especially making generally good characters cruel and abusive)
• Slap-slap-kiss / BST dynamics. More a dislike than a DNW because, if slap-slap-kiss is the dynamic they have in canon, adhering to canon characterization trumps my dislike of slap-slap-kiss. However, if you're portraying a romantic pairing, where possible, I'd prefer playful teasing and honest rapport / enjoying each other's company over belligerence (including BST), frequent arguments, one character punishing another for "cheating" on a romantic relationship neither character has agreed to be in, etc.

NSFW DNWs:

• Watersports / scat / vore.
• Body modification in a romantic and/or sexual context (e.g. inflation). Permanent injury in a non-sexual context is okay.

Fic DNWs:

• Issuefic (unless specifically requested)

Likes

General likes:

• Sexy stuff, fluffy stuff, dark stuff (like... I am really not picky). All ratings, all genres.
• AUs of all kinds (modern, historical, what-ifs, supernatural, Rule 63, etc.). If you have an idea for an AU that I didn't prompt, please do it, I would love it.
• Disney crossovers. Love seeing characters from different movies who would be friends, contrasts and parallels, etc.
• Kingdom Hearts. (If you want to do works centered on Disney characters but in KH's universe, I would find that interesting and be able to fully appreciate it.)

Fic likes:

• People who have unresolved issues. (e.g. Individual characters who have psychological issues, or two characters who grate on each other or rub each other the wrong way; conflict.)
• Character studies.
• Plotty fic. Character X and character Y go on an adventure together is always a prompt.
• Aromantic and/or asexual headcanons. I'm noticing I have a lot of characters requested below where I'd be interested in works with such headcanons, so consider this blanket permission to do that if you want! But if you want to write all characters as alloromantic/allosexual, that's also fine!

Art likes:

• Saturated, bright colors.
• Contrasts/opposites/foils.
• Gijinka / human versions of animal or non-human characters. You can basically add this as a prompt to every movie/character below.
• Going along with my love of AUs, any kind of redesign to put a character in a different time/setting (or depicting the character at a different age). Also consider this a prompt everywhere.

Note: I like all of these things individually! No need to incorporate more than one thing on this list (although I wouldn't mind if you did).

Brother Bear (2003)

Denahi prompts:

• Shaman!Denahi tells a story. He's a good storyteller.
• Anything that highlights his "somewhat bullying older brother" dynamic with Kenai -- going on an adventure? Near-death experiences?
• High school AU where Denahi is a hella awkward middle-sibling teenager and no one dies.
• Introspective piece / character study / scenes of Brother Bear from his perspective.

Tanana prompts:

• The story of how Tanana got her totem and put her hand up on the wall. Some people surmise her totem is for beauty; you can use that or use something else!
• Related, how does Tanana's totem and trying to live by it shape her attitude and/or interpretation of the events of Brother Bear?

Denahi & Tanana prompts:

• Denahi receives training to be a shaman under Tanana's guidance.

Cinderella (1950)

Cinderella-specific DNWs

• Abusive/callous (or any other dark take on) Prince Charming.
• Dysfunctional or unhappy Cinderella/Prince Charming pairing.

Cinderella prompts:

• Cinderella kind of functions as like... a perennial favorite character for dark / abusive / non-con scenarios (see, for example, my Cinderella-related Nonconathon prompts). My appetite for works in this genre is infinite (as long as the Prince isn't the aggressor).

Prince Charming prompts:

• I just like this character a lot and think he's sweet and eccentric/otherworldly and would like someone to flesh him out more.
• Examples: Flesh out his upbringing/childhood, his relationship to his father (esp. conflict regarding their attitude toward e.g. social events, being royalty, marriage, kids, etc.), his POV on the events of Cinderella, etc.

Cinderella / or & Prince Charming prompts:

• Modern AU where the Prince is a nerd living in his parent's basement, and Cinderella is the latest girl his dad is trying to set him up with.
• A take on Cinderella where the (possibly aroace) Prince had nothing to do with the search for Cinderella, but upon hearing her situation, marries her anyway just to get her out of her abusive household. They become good friends (or fall in love later, IDK).

Disney Fairies Series

General art prompts:

• The human AU prompt is especially applicable here!
• I also love the Disney Fairies thing where the fairies have clothing that really looks like it's made of flower and plant parts. Would love clothing designs like that.

Tinker Bell prompts:

• Modern AU where Tinker Bell is a coder, mechanical engineer, or something similar. In fact, regardless of characters, anything that mapped fairy talents to modern AU ones would be super cool.

Vidia prompts:

• My favorite character! I'd love character studies exploring her abrasive personality.
• Would love a fic/scenario where her fast flying abilities get a chance to shine.
• In-depth interaction with any other Disney Fairies character, especially if they initially don't really get along or understand each other.

Tinker Bell/Vidia prompts:

• Tsundere!Vidia surprising Tinker Bell by doing unexpectedly nice/supportive things for her.
• Tinker Bell and Vidia thrown into a situation that requires cooperation / forced intimacy / dubcon sex to make it out alive.

Emperor's New Groove (2000)

Kuzco prompts:

• A humorous fic with plenty of Kuzco narration? Kuzco's personality, voice, and attitude toward stuff is funny and I always enjoy more.

Yzma prompts:

• Yzma is super old. I would love to see more of her life. How long has she been trying to rule the Inca empire? How successful has she been? How many emperors has she advised? What's her daily skincare routine?!
• I adore Yzma's sense of fashion. Would love to see more costume designs for her! Especially cat-themed ones. Eartha Kitt Catwoman reference? IDK!

Kuzco & Yzma prompts:

• So I had this idea a long time ago but I would love to see something where Kuzco and/or Yzma come to an awkward realization that they're actually really similar human beings. This prompt on disney_kink was me...
• What if Yzma was Kuzco's nanny when he was younger? (She'd be the worst nanny!)
• Catty verbal jousting between them?

General art prompts:

Buck prompts:

• What does he get up to after the end of the movie? What does he spend his time daydreaming about? Does he find a new object for hero worship? Does he get to go on a new adventure?

Grace prompts:

• I just want to see Grace being a new age weirdo.
• What does life / the events of the movie seem like through her eyes?

Maggie prompts:

• I just like how Maggie is totally fun and brash. Let her be the life of the party!
• I also like her fiercely independent but kind of vulnerable side too. Any kind of scenario where she's feeling kind of tender over something but no one notices (because she hides it too well) and she's too stubborn to ask for help until it's at a breaking point (maybe she meets her old owner again and gets torn up?).

Mrs. Caloway prompts:

• Anything exploring her relationship to Pearl / the farm / various animals within. She always seems like she feels personally responsible for the well-being of the farm (kind of like Woody's relationship to Andy / Andy's room?).

Buck / or & Grace prompts:

• I just like how their personalities contrast so much with the hot-headed, impulsive Buck vs. Grace's unrufflable mellowness.
• I'd love to see something where Buck can't tell if Grace is flirting with him or if she's just messing with his head or just always behaves in a way that can be interpreted as flirtatious.

Grace & Mrs. Caloway:

• How long have they known each other? What kinds of experiences have they been through together?

Maggie / or & Mrs. Caloway prompts:

• It's Grace's birthday and Maggie and Mrs. Caloway want to prepare a special surprise for her, but that means they have to get along long enough to finish the planning...
• Two words: mud wrestling.

The Jungle Book (1967)

General art prompts:

• The gijinka/human AU prompt is especially applicable here!
• I love the lush jungle art of The Jungle Book. Any character in the jungle at night would be wonderful.

Bagheera prompts:

• My favorite thing about Bagheera is how he is simultaneously somewhat of a stick in the mud and also a lithe, cunning predator. Anything that allows both of those aspects of him to shine would be great.
• Reflecting on his relationship to Mowgli.

Baloo prompts:

• Baloo ruminates on how he lives his life vs. how other jungle animals live their lives.

Bagheera / or & Baloo prompts:

• I am really into Bagheera and Baloo's dynamic of having very different ideas of parenting/responsibility/the good life, but ending up really good friends. (Apparently I have an extremely weak spot for the very specific dynamic of "straightlaced uptight guy and bohemian free-spirited guy become co-dads to a feral child" and would read an unlimited amount of fic featuring it?)
• Would love an adventure Bagheera and Baloo have together after Mowgli leaves, especially if it involves saving each other's lives!
• Bagheera and Baloo gradually realizing they have romantic feelings for each other.
• Friendly or flirtatious teasing and banter between the two of them!

Pinocchio (1940)

General art prompts:

• Older designs for Lampwick and/or Pinocchio would be awesome!

Lampwick prompts:

• Okay but what happens to Lampwick after he gets turned into a donkey?! (The question that runs through my mind whenever I watch this movie.)
• Backstory of how Lampwick ended up going to Pleasure Island.
• Dealing with post-Pleasure Island PTSD.

Pinocchio prompts:

• Life after the end of the movie: adjusting to being human, teenage years, etc.
• I'd love a character study delving into what Pinocchio is like as an adult having had such an odd childhood/early existence. Any things that he had difficulty picking up or figuring out?

Lampwick/Pinocchio prompts:

• Post-movie, still-a-donkey!Lampwick ends up meeting Pinocchio and pining for him while a donkey, still having a human heart but unable to express his feelings.
• I've always wanted a more in-depth account of the time on Pleasure Island, maybe with more drama/story/twist-and-turns/emotions?? (In the movie, it goes by so fast!) Play up the horror elements of the boys slowly disappearing from the island? Have the boys try to escape the island?
• Another way to add more drama/plot to Pleasure Island would be to reimagine it as a brothel. Lampwick and Pinocchio trying to plan a prison break! (This D_K prompt is also mine).
• School students AU where Lampwick and Pinocchio are classmates who get up to all sorts of pranks and shenanigans together.

Robin Hood (1973)

General art prompts:

• The gijinka/human AU prompt is especially applicable here, for ANY Robin Hood character, not just Klucky!

Lady Kluck prompts:

• Hands-down my favorite character. I like how she can seamlessly transition from demure lady-in-waiting to absolute badass. I want more. Maybe an AU where she's a secret agent or something.
• Lady Kluck roasting every person of power and influence in England.
• I ship her with Little John if you want to write something with the two of them?

Crossover ideas

Home on the Range x Sleeping Beauty

• These two movies are (I think?) the only that Disney have done featuring three women as the main characters. And they even kind of match? Grace/Fauna: The mellow one that doesn't get into arguments. Maggie/Merryweather: The feisty one who has an attitude. Mrs. Caloway/Flora: The bossy leader/mother hen of the trio. I feel like something can be done with this.

Home on the Range x Jungle Book

• Something that highlights the parallels between the Maggie/Mrs. Caloway and Bagheera/Baloo relationship. Maybe a double date.

Jungle Book x Robin Hood

• Well, Baloo and Little John have the same voice and similar designs. Something where this is the joke. (Maybe Bagheera meets Little John and is like "Who does this remind me of..."? Or they are literally the same person in two settings?) Thomas O'Malley could also be incorporated if you like.
• Jungle Book characters in the semi-anthropomorphized world of Robin Hood.
