March update: Ongoing/upcoming smut/kink events

Hoo boy, I'm struggling with this "post one update post a month" thing, even though I don't really even need to say that much in an update. I could just be like, "Hi. The projects are going/not going" or "The soulcaliburkink Promptathon has started!" (which it has) and that would be enough for a monthly post. In my defense, though, January, February, and March have just been a really busy time for me.

So yeah, for this post, I mainly just want to promo some smut/kink events going on/coming up (in order of deadline, I suppose):

1. soulcaliburkink Promptathon - This has been going on since February. I ended up extending the bingo-claiming part into March too. We've gotten some new prompts and someone (not me) got bingo! I'm trying to go for a blackout and maybe a hard mode bingo if I have time. But yeah, due to March busyness and other things taking priority, I still haven't had the chance to leave any more prompts. But I'm confident I'll be able to do it in the uh last five days of March. Join me! After that, I'll take a crack at trying to fill some, although probably with something short. (Even after the end of March, you can still leave prompts too.)

2. Rare Kink Buffet 2025 - Prompting for this one is closed, but works are due in a week, on April 2. I've got my eye on a couple of prompts - I'm going to see if I can write up something VERY short for those two. I also saved/picked out some prompts that I thought were fun, although I couldn't really think of anything for them, or the chance of my filling them is pretty low for whatever reason. I listed them at the bottom of this post with some comments, if you're interested.

3. super_effucktive - Formerly known as dick_or_treat, Super Effucktive is a very simple challenge, which is to make at least one smut work titled with a Pokemon move. It's quite fun to browse the list of moves and see how suggestive they are (apparently the most popular title used is "Double Team" XD), and it's very easy to participate because you can write anything you want and just find an appropriate Pokemon move title afterward. This one is starting up soon, on April 1st, and runs through May 31st. Depending on how my writing is going, I might have a couple of late smut fics I could use this event to finish up.

And here's my list of Rare Kink Buffet CCOF (creator's choice of fandom) prompts I thought were interesting:

This is one that works well for a rare fandom of mine, so it's one I'm taking a crack at! Fingers crossed I can finish something!

Character A hits their head and wakes up in the porno/hentai version of their life. Now the answer to literally every problem and conflict they face is sex!

I have no specific ideas for this, but I love porn logic in fics (the solution to every minor problem is to offer someone sex! have characters just having sex in the open and no one thinks this is weird!), and it's always a fun exercise to translate elements in canon to the closest porno equivalent (focusing on scenes in canon that were suggestive/COULD have had a porn read, changing people's names to be plays on smut words, etc.).

A character with nullified genitals (magical/surgical/natal) has enjoyable sex

I mainly saved this one for Odo. In my mind, I'm always wondering how a Quodo relationship would have worked out if the Founders - when they gave Odo a solid body - didn't give him any genitals because he didn't have any in his everyday form? Or I'm wondering, what if Odo is just very uncomfortable forming genitalia but still wants to have sex with Quark anyway? I don't have any answers to these questions, though, which is the problem!

POV of Character A who has Character B under mind control, with a focus on things like A's sense of power over B, A relishing over how powerless B is to their whims, them telling B to do humiliating things, and it can lead to sex but doesn't have to. Can be consensual, dubcon, or noncon.

This one also works well for one of my rare fandoms (Bravely Default - Fiore DeRosa + any female character). I've already written something for this, but I could always write MORE, I suppose. He would do this, though.

Character being nonconned by a demon/monster/etc that has cum that is an aphrodisiac. It slowly turns the character from a horrified, completely unwilling participant into a desperate slut that's begging for more/participating very enthusiastically.

This is always a very delicious scenario for my id, but I don't have any canons/character I think naturally works well for it without being a bit contrived!

Character restrained into VR setup raped by character not in VR. Victim can feel what's happening to their body, but can't see what's happening or figure out where the sensations are coming from.

I always like scenarios where characters don't know who is having sex with them or how. I think there's also a lot of interesting things to play with here about experiencing the virtual and real worlds simultaneously and the character trying to escape and what that feels like. But yeah, this setup is quite specific! Probably works better for original work than fic, which isn't my wheelhouse.

Character with shapeshifting ability kinking on transforming into any object. Sensory play focused on things like different levels of sturdiness, size, materials, textures, etc. What happens if they "break" while transformed? What kinds of common or uncommon things are they used for?

Bonus:

- Voyeurism: they also kink on spying on people.
- Used for sex: the thing they're transformed into is not usually used for sex but the other person is very horny. Any level of consent and also awareness of the shapeshifter by the horny person.
- Stealth impregnation: the shapeshifter impregnates other people without them knowing. Either in human form or object form.

This is also very Odo-core. I don't find the main prompt particularly sexy, though, and the (more sexy) bonus thoughts have already been done many times!

Endosoma/safe vore or unbirthing, smaller character taking a nap/extended rest period inside larger character's stomach or uterus. Some handwavy magic/tech means they won't drown/dissolve in acid and they are just comfy as hell inside of their partner. Emphasis on the closeness and comfort/safety.

+ Telepathic/other form of communication leaves them in constant contact
+ Macro character is a dragon
+ One or both characters are shapeshifters/changed size for this specifically, whether it's getting shrunk to fit inside someone or making themself the perfect size to hold their partner close
+++ Larger partner did this to force smaller partner to take a break bc they're a workaholic

Either or both of them can get off but they don't have to!

Another prompt that works well for Quodo (more Quodo vore!), especially with Odo as the micro character. The dragon part isn't super relevant, but the touch telepathy, shapeshifting, and Quark doing this because Odo is a workaholic (and he is very miffed about Quark doing this to him) all work. But yeah, it's not particularly my kink!

Magical Girl/Boy/Enby setting where the protag needs to have sex to recharge magical energy. And when their magical energy is low, they get very sexually desperate.

Some ideas include:
- Antagonist has sex with protag because they think it's entertaining to see the protag so needy and/or because "It's no fun to defeat you in this state"
- Alternatively, antagonist takes advantage of the protag's current state to abduct them and then take advantage of them
- Civilian friend or fellow Magical Person in denial about their feelings for the protag has sex with them under the guise of "It's just to help them"
- Protag desperately trying to satisfy themselves only with toys and masturbation
- Protag uses what little magical energy they have left to fuck a stranger (so they can recharge without risking harming their civilian form's reputation)
- Monster Of The Week takes advantage of the protag's state
- Any other idea you might have for this setting is fair game too! Go as wild as you want!

I like magical girl/superhero settings/AUs. I was thinking about this prompt and I feel like a character with powers that work this way would actually be quite overlapping with an incubus/succubus type AU too, just with a hero incubus/succubus who mainly uses their magic powers to save the world, I suppose! Probably the "Monster Of The Week takes advantage of the protag's state" is the most iddy to me of these (excellent) ideas. But I was also thinking about how a Quodo AU might work for this one, with Quark as the person with powers like this. Because in that case, I think what probably works best is something like: the fact that Quark has powers like this and regularly has sex with other people to recharge them Bothers Odo A Lot, but also Odo refuses to sleep with him with the justification that he wouldn't want Quark to get any more powerful/he isn't going to do anything that would help Quark (an antagonism-based justification). But you know he's always thinking about it. XD

Free use bestiality or fantasy bestiality where a male character is stuck or non-consensually bound outside and gets fucked by wild creatures

Bestiality; Human x Non-Human Gangbang! Bonus points if the "non-human(s)" are canid. <3 I figure this works better with OW, but CCoF/Any Fandom is more than welcome!

This is just my "I love bestiality in whatever form" free space... I once read a Trials of Mana - Angela/Beastmen fic that works well for the second prompt, but other than that, no particular ideas come to mind.

Character A & B are in a relationship. Something happens and Character A gets nonconned while B is forced to watch while tied up. To B’s horror, A starts to really like it and the assault turns completely consensual as B still watches.

This prompt is very close to hitting my id but is not quite what I like. I very much like "B is forced to watch love interest A get nonconned" type scenarios, but I don't particularly need the characters to be in a relationship (it might in some cases be interesting if they're not because of the complicated emotions involved but I don't particularly care either way); I also don't particularly care whether B is tied up (forced to watch for various other reasons is perfectly fine with me); I'm also not particularly wedded to it becoming completely consensual for A - dubiously consensual also works perfectly fine for me e.g. above-mentioned addictive/aphrodisiac cum scenario. It's a bit risky for me to fill this prompt if I'm not sure how important those various details are to the scenario - I'd be worried about possibly wandering away from the prompt as I write, and it not being a good fill anymore. But this is very close to my id! This kind of scenario basically works with all the ships I have, lol.

Nonconning someone in front of a mirror so they’re forced to watch.

Bulletproof kink for me, although I have no specific ideas.

Brides are expected to spread their legs on the altar and have their pussy spanked in front everyone as a symbol of submission to their soon-to-be husband. The bride can be of any gender.

Well, I have a lot of Quodo fics with this premise, lol. There are a lot of scenarios here, though, and I really like identity porn, impersonation fics, etc. I once read a Yun-seong/Mi-na fic where he blindfolded her and pretended to be Hwang (her husband/partner in the fic), and that was the good stuff. I would also die for "Edea mistakes (or 'mistakes') Alternis for Ringabel" fic, although I don't really have the drive to write it myself. Maybe if anyone else also wanted a fic like that, though... XD

Selfcest kinking on the nature of the relationship.

And this is my "I love all selfcest/identity issues" free space. I don't have any ideas grabbing me but I suppose it works well for mirrorverse type setups.

underrated omegaverse spin-offs!

Cakeverse: there are Cakes (people who taste like cakes when kissed, fucked, or cannibalised), Forks (who can taste these cake people at the cost of only being able to taste sweet foods, any other flavour tastes like dirt), and normal people.

Pomegaverse: when people get too stressed, they turn into pomeranian dogs (or any other small, fluffy animal) and have to be pampered to turn human again

Gardenverse: there are people who grow flowers on their bodies (Florists) and then people who eat said flowers off them (Flower Eaters) which helps them feel more sane and helps the Florist feel better since the flowers drain their energy as part of a symbiotic relationship.

Pistilverse: Pistils who are people with a barren tree or vine like marking on their body but it develops flowers and foliage as they have sex with Stamens, Stamens can impregnate Pistils

Flower maiden dynamics, as seen in the webtoon Moonlight Garden! For the unfamiliar:
- Flower maidens are basically female omegas
- In mid-late puberty, the "seed" in their body sprouts and causes them to go into monthly heats called "blooms"
- They must get fucked by a woman (and ONLY by a woman; a man's touch will kill them) or their bloom is fatal
- They will eventually enter "full bloom" which kills them before they're thirty

I saved these two prompts because I wanted a reference for some of these lesser-known omegaverse variants. But none of these gave me any particular ideas for my fandoms...

Character A keeps making lewd comments in public (among their friend group). Their significant other always shoots this down, hard, and makes character A feel bad about saying these things.

The friends learn that this is because character A's biggest kink is being kink-shamed, and their SO is helping them indulge.

Also very Quodo-core. This is basically their canon dynamic with a (secret?) relationship added on top. Not particularly sexy to me, but I am tickled by the idea.

Virgin priestess whose virginity is spiritually important is publicly raped by a conquering warlord to prove his conquest and control. Bonus points if she's forced to be an active participant such as riding him, stroking herself, etc. She should be humiliated and horrified the whole time, but I'm not against her being forced into an orgasm (and slut shamed for it, of course).

Very sexy scenario, in my opinion, but there's a lot of very specific details here that it's hard for me to match to a fandom. Might be better as an original work prompt.
